Just when you think this trend has died, it just continues to thrive. Yes, that’s right, I’m talking about the nope makeup trend known as glitter roots. The trend from 2016 that refuses to go away.
We can all agree that dark roots are a nuisance for anyone but the solution to doust them in glue and glitter –just why?!
I can’t imagine what the clean up of this would be like. Glitter for weeks all over your bed and sheets. Glitter falling all over your house and work place.
The end result doesn’t look that great and to be honest I would prefer to look at dark roots instead of glitter on your roots and everywhere else.
Tell me your thoughts on this look. Would you put glitter in your hair to “cover up” your hair growth?

i would never put enough glitter in my hair to cover my roots but for a night out, if not for how messy it is, i would have fun with a little glitter to accessorize my dreads. like glittery extensions would be awesome.
but this…nope.

I have seen it on some people and thought it looked cute but there is no way I would do it to myself, and I’m speaking as a die hard sparkle and glitter fan. I would maybe dust a little glitter in my hair to make it sparkle, but glue is a big nope.
