As some of you have noticed, I have been absent from blogging for the past 2 months.
It doesn’t come easily to say this but, I fell into a deep depression and just needed to detox and focus on the things that I needed to complete in my personal life (which I will be touching on when the time is right).
It pained me to put my blog on the back burner as this is my happy place and I love to interact with everyone.
For those that have supported with while in this absence, thank-you and I love you.
With that, I will be bringing out some new content and well as publishing some content that has been sitting in my draft bin.
If you guys have any comments or questions let me know in the comments below and once again thank you for the support.
I hope you are in a better place. ❤️❤️

I commend you on your willingness to share because that couldn’t have been easy for you. I think this is the type of stuff people should share cause I’m sure it’s much more common than we’d like to think. Again, kuddos to you, Linds.

I’m so glad you took time for self-care. And brave of you to be honest. Good for you. Being vulnerable takes courage, but I have found that others respond to it, because we have all been in similar places. Glad you are doing better. I’ll be exploring your blog soon. (And thanks for “liking” my post so I could find you!)

Hello lovely, Bless you and thank you so much for visiting my blog and liking my posts. As you know I blog about all things creative and I teach craft via the workshops and craft clubs that I run.
You possibly already know this but crafting is so unbelievably therapeutic – there have been many studies on it and it has been proven to help recovery from illness. Visitors to my children’s craft sessions cannot believe how quiet and calm they are and both adults and children get lost and have such fun. My husband suffers from depression and it can be overwhelming as indeed can life itself. My studio is a large cupboard with no windows but full of materials and fairylights and I shut the doors and my heart starts beating faster when I create and I get totally lost for as long as I can in a world of magic and sparkle.
Do try some crafting – it needn’t be expensive – I sometimes post where to buy cheap but gorgeous craft supply posts and as you probs know I have some craft tutorials on the blog too – try making the fairy card – perhaps onto a canvas and I bet she will make you smile every single time you look at her.
Please also don’t feel pressure to post – with my house refurbishment, 3 children and all that I create and do I long ago decided I would post when I could – no pressure, life is too short so you must do what makes you happy.
If you ever need any craft advice, I am most definately your girl but you are always welcome to chat about anything else – I love to talk!
Sending you a hug.
Much Love,
Sarah xx

I don’t know if it will help, but I stopped writing for about a year on my blog due to depression and exhaustion and much care giving and death in my life, including my mom. Sometimes you have to take serious time to heal and refill your cup before you can give out again. I ended up sitting on the porch and staring out into space for much of the year. I could do little else. I still struggle with this sometimes. I think if you polled a lot of bloggers out there, they might have more in common with us than not, but often too afraid to admit it.
In any event, thank you for visiting my blog!
