Here’s a list of recent empties and whether I would repurchase them.
First Aid Beauty Skin Rescue Oil-Free Mattifying Gel Mosturizer has been my go to holy grail for 1.5 years now. I can’t find anything else that works as effectively for my combination skin. I use this as a moisturizer base before I put on primer and foundation. It absorbs quickly with in minutes and I continue to purchase this over and over again!
Olay Complete All Day Moisturizer with SPF 15 was a purchase from Walmart for $15 CAD. Although this is a reasonable product for the price. I found it exaggerated my oiliness after a couple hours of wear. This would be an excellent product for those with dry skin who are looking for a product with mild SPF in it–it’s just not me.
Smashbox Iconic Photo Finish Foundation Primer is my new obsession. This product is great for all skin type from dry to combination. This product is great for soothing dry patches and blurring pores. It works well with oily skin and does not emphasise pooling as other silicone primers do. I already have this in my shopping cart to purchase.
Smashbox 24 Hour Photo Finish Shadow Primer is an excellent product that lasts. This is my second favourite eye shadow primer that is reliable for an 8-9 hour work day. I honestly buy one of these a year–because that’s how long it lasts for. This product is worth the investment if you like to wear eye shadow.
Burt’s Bees Lip Balm with Pink Grapefruit is of my favourite lip products. This is a lip balm that I keep beside my bed. It’s great for at night lip care and has an almost massaging feeling on the lips because of the grapefruit. I have been buying this for 5 years and will not be stopping now.
Nivea Rich Moisture Soft Caring Shower Cream has become my favourite body wash for after an intense workout. The lather from this is intense and it feels like it penetrates your muscles. This is also great for the winter months when your skin is drier. I will be repurchasing this.
